When, back in 2005 we came to Phuket to follow the reconstruction to a year after the terrible tsunami, it was here that we first began reporting for Tutto Turismo magazine. Today to remember the tragic event there is a monument with its plaque. And for us, that distant ' 05 was the beginning of our love for the ' Pearl of the Andaman Sea'.
Devo ammettere che Kamala non è tra le mie spiagge preferite. Non si puó dire che sia brutta ma non ha lo stesso fascino di altre.
Eppure. Per me e Grazia ha un significato particolare. Quando, nell'ormai lontano 2005 venimmo a Phuket per seguirne la ricostruzione a un anno dal terribile tsunami, fu proprio qui che iniziammo il reportage per Tutto Turismo.
Oggi a ricordare il tragico evento c'è un monumento con relativa targa. E per noi quel lontano '05 fu l'inizio dell'amore per la 'Perla delle Andamane'.
