Breaking News: the toad Maffo is back?
Hard to believe but today, like enchantment, extracting a papyrus from a jar here appear the home toad disappeared. That it is really him the croaking animal?
Now. I am informed. First of all we are not even sure of sex since last year I lifted from his preferred pot a shoddy goods at least a thousand gelatinous eggs and thrown into the near pond (aka a pool of a house under construction). However, male or female, could always be him. Maffo worshiped. I quote the Treccani: ' there are huge differences depending on species, sex, and life (captivity and no), but there are frogs that reach over 10 years and toads, such as the one that lives in Italy (Bufo lineatus), up to 36. '

Breaking News: il rospo Maffo è tornato?
Difficile da credere ma oggi, come di incanto, estraendo un papiro da un vaso ecco apparire il rospo di casa dato ormai per scomparso. Che sia veramente lui il gracidante animale? Ora. Mi sono informato.
Innanzitutto non siamo neanche sicuri del sesso visto che l'anno scorso ho levato dal suo vaso preferito una paccottiglia gelatinosa di almeno un migliaio di uova e l'ho gettata nello stagno vicino (alias una piscina di una casa in costruzione). Peró, maschio o femmina che sia, potrebbe essere sempre lui. Maffo adorato.
Cito la Treccani: 'Ci sono differenze enormi a seconda di specie, sesso, e vita (cattività e no), ma ci sono rane che arrivano oltre i 10 anni e rospi, come quello che vive in Italia (il Bufo lineatus), che arrivano fino a 36.'
Per cui gridiamo in coro: il rospo Maffo è tornato e lotta insieme a noi.
